Those of us who are comic book fans are in for a treat. Those of us who are a little bit over the top in our love for Batman are in for even more of a treat. In a week in which physical harm has been threatened at TSA Towers over who will get to review Batman: Arkham City when it comes out, Warner Bros. have announced a new tie in product.
The six-issue comic book miniseries will bridge the gap between Arkham Asylum and the sequel and will be written by Paul Dini who is not only responsible for the writing of both games in the series but also the really-surprisingly-brilliant Batman: The Animated Series.
The series is set to begin in May with the first two episodes and will incorporate extra, digitally distributed “interludes” which will consist of a couple of additional pages that flesh out (but are not essential to) the main story leading up to the start of the new game.
There, a whole news item written about a DC property in which I didn’t mention how much I love Jim Lee. Ah, well… almost!
