The first PS3 gameplay footage of Crysis 2 has surfaced and it’s pretty shiny. Crytek said last year that there were ‘no ports’ for Crysis 2, all versions are developed simultaneously and this PlayStation footage looks at least the equal of anything else we’ve seen on the 360.
Looks good, right, even though I much prefer the jungle look of the first game. Thoughts?

Looks very nice apart from the texture/shadow/effect pop-in from distance, most noticeable on the water flow down the wall 38 seconds in.

I wasn’t saying it as a massively derogatory point, I think it looks amazing for a console game, but things like pop-in were inevitable.

I have this on pre-order but i think i might cancel it and pick it up later. Just got KZ3 and Assassin’s Creed Botherhood and i’m still playing Need For Speed online so i don’t know how much time i’ll to dedicate to it. It does look good though.

would have loved for ps3 to get jungle environment. hope demo is on easy lvl, as no resistance from enemy a.i.
all about how good mp is for me & if u can remove (fps beginners aid) damn child proof crosshairs. spoils illusion & immersion for me, u dont need a x-hair to accurately fire from the hip & reduces skill needed for a kill.
