Like already mentioned today, it looks like Helen Mirren is in Uncharted 3. Well, it kinda looks like her. Over on the official PS blog the guys have blown the lid on the wily villainess, with a better image of her in all her glory along.
Marlowe is described as a “coldly calculating leader of a secret society whose roots date back over four hundred years to the court of Queen Elizabeth I. She has a long-standing rivalry with Nathan Drake over Sir Francis Drake’s ring.”
We also get a new cut-scene, and is that Jason Statham?

It looks like crap. Not crap crap. But it looks like crap compared to UC:DF’s cutscene’s graphics. I hope they pre-render the cutscenes in the games, otherwise, the lighting will always look as crap as this. Yes, I’m trying not to get hyped by this because Uc2 really let me down.

Nevermind that, I really hadn’t watched the video, I was afraid I’d might drool over my new keyboard. I watched it now and it looks so amaz… *keyboard malfunctions, DRCD1 has collapsed on top of it due to the game’s top-notch graphics*

So the lady is Helen Mirren because she’s old and has grey hair… and the guy is Jason Statham because he’s bald and has stubble. Seriously? Come on, they look nothing like them apart from the similarities I’ve just described!
As for the footage, shaping up very nicely indeed. This is the game I’m most looking forward to this year.
