Square Enix has announced a release date for Dissidia [duodecim] Prologus Final Fantasy. The game will be available on the PlayStation Network in North America next week for $2.99. Prologus is also confirmed for Europe but a release date has not been announced yet.
Dissidia [duodecim] Prologus serves as a prelude to the events in Dissidia 012 [duodecim] and features Lightning from FFXIII as a playable character. Players will be able to carry over all items obtained in Prologus to the full version of the game. As an additional bonus, you’ll also receive Aerith Gainsborough (FFVII) as an assist character.
If this version of Prologus is the same as the one released in Japan, there’s also an arcade mode with seven playable characters to choose from. Clearly, this is more than just a demo.
Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy hits store shelves on March 22nd (US) and March 25th (EU). Check out the new trailer below.

Will the PSN one be playable on the PS3 or PSP only?

PSP only. It’d be awesome if it were playable on the PS3.

Eh? isn’t a add-on?
Delriach
It’s a standalone product with bonuses.

WTF let me play as Cloud Strife, and let my assist character be Zack Fair.
Lightning sucks IMO.
