Child Of Eden Dated

Ubisoft has announced that the stunning looking ‘Child of Eden’ will be released on June 14th (we are assuming June 17th for our neck of the woods). Unfortunately this is just for the Xbox 360, and PS3 owners are being told that more information for their console will be given at a later date.

Want to know more about Child of Eden? Check out the silky smooth words of our very own Kovacs. I’ve also added a gameplay video, which can be found below.

  1. Come on! Literally can’t wait. Off to play Rez HD to celebrate!

    • Have a feeling this will be my GoTY.

    • I’m inspired to get Rez and my PS2 out of the loft! Is CoE going to be okay to play with a regular controller?

      • Yep regular controller and Kinect.

      • Will it work on Move?

      • Not sure if Move will be used. Fingers crossed though.

      • Official description on retail sites I’ve looked at says the PS3 version uses Move. I see no reason it wouldn’t to be honest.

      • I can imagine controlling it with move, based on the gameplay video above.

    • I hope so, atleast it seems so based on the controller in the video.

  2. Is this a retail game or a download game?

    • Think it’s retail

      • then no buy from me until it hits the bargain bin. The game just looks like a psn game.

      • Its not I’m its a download

  3. By the time this game comes out on PS3 i’d be in the ‘real’ garden of Eden anyway lol

  4. Some of thr sound effect are from REZ too..
I remember REZ having excellent soundtrack, especially ‘Fear’ by Adam Freeland

  5. this is the one from the creator of rez isn’t it?
rez was a great game, been trying to find a ps2 copy for ages, i did find a copy once but it was the japanese version, so i can’t play it. :(

  6. Looking at this game in action and from all I’ve heard, I’m not seeing what here is supposed to be worth a full retail price. Upper end download title sure, but something that costs 40 quid? Not nowadays… or has Kinect really lowered the bar for what is an acceptable amount of on disc content for full retail pricing THAT badly?

  7. Ugh… not another timed exclusive

  8. I still can’t see Kinect reacting responsively enough to be able to play this. Do any Kinect owners/users feel the same?

If Move is integrated properly it could be THE killer controller for this title. Lovely music and visuals.

  9. Looks interesting, if it works with Move im in at the right price. Does look like it should be a PSN release though so if its full retail price im out. £15 max for me, too many other games I want aswell.

  10. Timed exclusive?? what…..sick of these timed games, if its any more than a month then I think people will loose interest.
