Second Battlefield 3 Fault Line Video Released

A second Battlefield 3 video has surfaced showcasing the gorgeousness of EA’s upcoming shooter. Once again the footage is undoubtedly from the PC build, though it should be noted that EA DICE have confirmed that, though understandably “scaled down”, the console version of Battlefield 3 will still rock your world. Entitled: “Fault Line Episode 2: Good Effect on Target,” the snippet does not disappoint.

Note: the footage features some colourful language. That said, if I was on a rooftop and a sniper was shooting at me, you could expect to hear a few f-bombs.

  1. Wow, you can’t tell from the video, but the framerate seems to be quite a bit more than 60, maybe 90, or even 120. Makes me want to start saving up for a new gfx card!

  2. This game is looking amazing, albeit on the PC, but still. I would much rather see some console footage.

    • Dang, I thought that was console when I watched it on YouTube. Thanks for the heads up.

  3. PROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE

I thought the video was pretty badass.

  4. ftw

  5. Obviously a better engine and better graphics with the Frostbite 2 thing going for them. But am I the only BF fan that felt like the Bad Company line of games felt completely different than previous BF games. BF2 and back I mean? The players on the map seemed a lot smaller and harder to shoot at. There was no sort of kill cam to know where you got shot from in order to not run in the same direction again (if you were sniped). I still play and love all the games. I’m just hoping that they go back to the similar play style that we got with BF2 and previous titles.
