The latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine has an interview with Ninja Gaiden 3’s project lead, Yosuke Hayashi, who reveals a few interesting bits of information.
Despite giving nothing else about it away, a “complex multiplayer mode” has been confirmed when the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions launch (simultaneously!). In terms of plot:
“We are focusing Ryu as a dark Japanese hero. There won’t be new playable characters, but we’ll focus more deeply on Ryu Hyabusa’s life and lifestyle and feelings and thoughts.
We are trying to take the violent concepts even deeper and make people realize how it feels to actually kill someone and what it is to actually gut someone. It’s very important to us that people realize that violence is not only about blood and gore.”
The franchise is well known for its punishing difficulty level, but NG3 will be taking a “slightly different approach”. Not easier, just one that can be accessed by more people. When question about Move support, Hayashi remained tight lipped, saying that was a closely guarded secret.

If MGS: Rising doesn’t have move support… then ok, let Ninja Gaiden do it.

These games were a little too punishing for me (the poor camera angles didn’t help my frustration levels either lol). Hopefully there is a demo so I can try this one out though
