PS3 Version Of Child Of Eden Cancellation Rumour “False”

Rumour started flying this afternoon that, according to a poster on GAF, who also appears to work for a major US retailer, the PS3 version of Ubisoft’s Child of Eden had been ‘cancelled’.

“Just got the email today that it’s cancelled for the PS3,” he said in a forum post.

But thankfully, whilst there’s currently no PS3 version listed on the official website, the Twitter account of Q’s James Mielke has confirmed that this isn’t the case.

“Rumor is false, people. Move along now,” he said.

Whether or not this means Microsoft have splashed out for a larger exclusivity window we’ll just have to wait and see, but at least the PS3 version is still coming.

Panic not, chaps.

  1. It’s exclusive to the 360 for a month.

    • And supports move & 3D

      • That’s what I was thinking; they’ve delayed it to add Move and 3D. Would fit in with some of the other comments recently.

  2. Can’t wait for this, glad its not cancelled.
The PS3 version does appear to be almost an after thought though, with the devs saying for ages they haven’t even received a Move dev kit

  3. Glad it is not cancelled. Roll on release date.

  4. Coolio.
