The much anticipated Ace Combat Assault Horizon will be hitting Europe on October 14th, three days after our pals in North America. There will be a limited edition that will include the game’s soundtrack and downloadable content.
In other Ace Combat news, it has been announced that the 3DS will be getting an entry into the franchise, developed by Project Aces.

Woah, just checked a couple of the trailers (linked in to the embedded trailer above) and it’s looking very exciting. The series got quite stale by the end of its run on the PS2 so I’m very interested to see what they’ve done with the new version. Roll on October!

I remember being so disappointed when the first next-gen Ace Combat was exclusive to 360 so I’m really pleased it’s come to PS3. Looks brilliant and I can’t wait.

Yeah, I was so disappointed I got drunk and bought an Xbox. Twice. Certainly looking forward to AC:AH (not least because it doesn’t require an alcohol-fuelled Amazon rampage), but October feels like long way off!
