Ignition Games has announced a release date for El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. The game will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America on July 26th. Europeans have to wait until September 9th for some reason.
El Shaddai will be playable at E3 next week, so expect some impressions from us. It certainly looks like an interesting game, that’s for sure. Check out the trailer below to see for yourself.

I played the Japanese demo, the jumping was a little tricky to judge, but it seemed alright. Whether or not I actually buy it depends on length, story and price.
