Capcom has announced that Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition will be released on the PSN and Xbox LIVE on August 24th in the UK. It’ll cost you $14.99/1200 MSP (and whatever that translates to in Pounds and Euros).
A new ‘features’ trailer has also been released.

Would be interested in this, Hope they dont keep releasing updating versions though and expecting the same payment. I bought the original SF4 but hardly anyone plays it anymore (in my experience) as everyone is playing Super and now arcade. its the only thing that really annoys me about a streetfighter game, that and Ken/Ryu and Bisons torpedo Spammers

This isn’t an updated version like Super SFIV or Arcade Edition. This is the same 3rd Strike (which is the third version of Street Fighter III) released 10 years ago. It’s just that capcom added a bunch of stuff outside of the core mechanics as a bonus, as well as an online mode. I did a writeup about the new stuff a lil while back.
