GMA Nominations Announced – TSA Recognised

The Games Media Awards nominees have been announced this morning. The GMAs are an annual ceremony in which outlets, broadcasts and individual writers are rewarded for the work they’ve done through the year.

It gives me immense pleasure to be able to report that TheSixthAxis has been nominated in the category for Best Website. We’re all very happy to be on the list alongside IGN, Gamespot, Eurogamer, CVG and a couple of other independent sites that it’s also very nice to see recognised.

Our nomination is a credit to the hard work and passion of our staff but it also demonstrates the attraction of our community and the atmosphere we’ve all created to encourage discussion and friendly interaction here.

Simply achieving a nomination is a great credit to us all. Winning the award? Well, that would be amazing…

This site has always been very community focused, and accessable to all. Even though im no big time contributer, or have never done any work for the site, i still feel part of it. This accolade makes me feel proud for being a part of it.
