It’s looking likely that Valve is set to announce a new Counter-Strike game. One of the biggest hints is the E-Sports Entertainment Facebook page, which reads:
“Counter-Strike: Global Offensive… More info in the morning.”
This backs up comments from Jess Cliffe, one of the original creators of Counter-Strike, who has commented on a Counter-Strike forum thread saying “”Global Offensive”.
For those who aren’t aware, Counter-Strike is an online FPS that pits terrorists against counter-terrorists. You win by either completing your objective or eliminating the opposing team.

I would expect it to be out on the PS3 as well given the amount of PS3 users who were likely introduced to Steam by the PS3 version of Portal 2.

My brother loves Counterstrike, I haven’t played it as I don’t game much on computer but I’m sure he will be ecstatic.

Probably the game I’ve spent most hours playing, that or Diablo 2. Makes me long for the days of being a student again.
