Forza 4 Shows Off Hockenheim Track

You’ll need to put up with the pre-roll advert (we got a Yorkshireman trying to sell us broadband) but this video – the second in the Behind The Scenes series – looks into how another one of Forza 4’s tracks was built.

Hockenheim’s hardly the most interesting or exciting track, but if you like staring at flat grey tarmac then this one’s just for you.

And regardless, at about 4.30 onwards it’s jaw droppingly amazingly lovely.  Mmm.

  3. It looks good, but like GT5, it just doesn’t look all that fun. I prefer something like Hot Pursuit over these super-realistic driving sims.

    • Then GT5 and Forza aren’t for you.

  4. As the Germans would say “Sehr gut”. Even though i dont have an xbox i am still looking forward to this, looks class.

  5. Great to see Forza trying its hardest to copy GT5. Shows the benchmark has been set.

    • Still doesn’t look as good as GT5, but they’ve still got time to improve it.

      • Well lets hope that is because they are spending some of their time making it enjoyable to play, rather than just pretty.

        I’m assuming all of Forza’s car models will be of the same standard as this….or are they planning on importing blocky crap from an older version also?

  7. Oh. Looks like they’re going for the sterility crown that GT5 currently has. That last minute was completely soulless. :-\ Probably just the camera angles and lack of crowd, fun, cars, um, anything.

  8. As already said – looks pretty good but why that track as it’s not exactly the best on the F1 calendar. Now, if Turn 10 were announcing Spa, Monza & Montreal then I’d very happy – so here’s hoping for a few more reveals in the coming weeks.

  9. Looks great. Guessing that it will be far more fun to play than GT5.

    • I would suggest making it less fun than GT5 would be a bigger challenge…
