Nintendo has announced that Kid Icarus: Uprising has been delayed until early 2012. The game was originally expected to release sometime this year. According to Siliconera, Nintendo will be using the extra development time to improve the quality of the game. A new release window for North America and Europe has not been announced yet.
Nintendo also revealed plans to release 3D animes to help promote the game. The movies are being made by the same studios that did Ghost in the Shell, Catherine, and Negima, so each one should be interesting.
