PlayStation Access is a way for fans of the brand to get a look at new and unreleased games on their favourite platforms. It’s fantastic to see Sony really engaging with the community in a very proactive way and giving you what you want – the chance to look at games before they hit the shops.
Manchester is the latest stop on the PSAccess roadshow, with a plethora of attractions in place for attendees. As well as the usual opportunities to play the latest and greatest of PlayStation, there will be the first round of the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2012 qualifiers, giving fans the chance to get through to the finals without going through the online rounds.
There will also be music from Maximo Park DJ, Luka Wooller on the Friday and Saturday evening sessions as well as the following list of pre-release games to look at and play:
- Uncharted 3
- Battlefield 3
- Assassins Creed Revelations
- GoldenEye 007 Reloaded
- Batman: Arkham City
- Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One
- Starhawk
- Tekken: Hybrid
- Dark Souls
It all takes place from the 6th to the 8th of October at Hope Mill, Pollard Street, Manchester with sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings (6PM-10PM) as well as the Saturday afternoon (12PM-4PM).
You can find further information on the PlayStation Access Facebook page.

Cardiff? Although I’ve moved to Falmouth for uni now, theres absolutely no chance of it being anywhere near there. Pah. Shame, would be fantastic to go to.

Access in London was brilliant when I went to it, very intimate, and therefore no queues!

Is PlayStation Access coming to Liverpool?
tom_lord
This is a bit silly, the PR department were quite clearly asleep! Why issue a statement today when the tickets all went yesterday……….?! I would have gone otherwise!

Got my email invite today. Just need to convince the other half that she really wants to go to something like this when she has absolutely no interest in gaming…
