Amazon France has listed a collectors edition of Rayman Origins for 61.99 Euros which is roughly £54.20.
The pack will contain a copy of the game, a 64 page art book, the game soundtrack on CD (something which will excite Kevatron judging by a recent TSA podcast) and a pop-up box.
The standard version of the game is retailing at 54.99 Euros so the collectors edition might be a bargain.
Play.com have a holding page for the collectors edition, it appears the UK will also be receiving some extra Rayman loving.

1. Collectors Edition looks awesome!
2. Surprised its not a PSN title.
3. I guess it’s longer than a usual game? If it’s around 13-15 hours then that’s a buy.

*than an average game
Yes, this does make more sense now.

I think it has about 60 levels. 15hrs is a bit ambitious for a 2D platformer. I think Donkey Kong Country Returns was 10 hours.

I agree about the length of DKCR. However it has massive replay value given all the collectibles and bonus levels etc. If this has similar replay value then it could well be 15 hrs.

Looks beautiful, but I’ll stick to the regular version, methinks :)

I’d love to have the Art Book but I would look at it once and forget about it… So I’ll stick to my current pre-order of the standard edition.
