Yes, we’re as surprised as you are – it’s come out of nowhere and already half the internet is talking about it.
According to the site, a trailer will follow on the 2nd of November, but nothing else is known yet apart from that ‘V’ looking suspiciously like a dollar bill, or the back of a playing card.
Money’s involved in a GTA game? Surely not. Vegas? Maybe.
We’ll update when we can – we’re expecting a press release at some point. In the meantime – GO WILD in the comments with speculation on what that ‘V’ is all about, that’s what they’re there for.

Would love for it to be set in London, that would be amazing! Doubt it though, Liberty City was really good so I won’t be too disapointed if it’s not.

Awesome news. I hope it’s setting is similar to San Andreas. I thought that was the best of the GTA worlds. I also hope they actually turn the game back to it’s old, insane self. GTA IV took itself to seriously. Although the multiplayer was always a laugh with friends.

Don’t make the vehicles so tricky to drive. Half way between GTAIV and Vice City is fine. It was detrimental to the shenanigans.
Drop the whole “dating” thing and build it into the story if such a thing is necessary. I don’t want to micromanage NPCs.
Give the side missions and collectables meaning but don’t feel that they’re necessary just to satiate the anally retentive trophy brigade. :-P

I only said GTA3 because of the whole 10 year anniversary thing and the fact it’s been announced for iPhone and all that.
I think it’s safe to say it’s definitely set in US, and more than likely LA/Vegas.

Would be nice to get a freebie of course (who doesn’t like freebies?), but by the time this gets released, you are more likely to be looking at the 10 year anniversary for Vice or most likely San Andreas rather than 3 I would think.
