Major Publishers Absent From PS Vita UMD Passport

The UMD Passport system, which allows PS Vita owners to purchase digital copies of PSP games for their spanky new console, does not seem to be supported by a number of notable publishers.

The Japanese PlayStation site has listed the games that will be supported in that territory, including titles from Tecmo Koei, Nippon Ichi and SNK Playmore.

However Namco Bandai, Konami, Square Enix and Capcom are all missing from the list, so Monster Hunter fans might not be able to port over their favourite PSP game.

  1. But the only PSP game id want ported over would be Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (which im guessing is under the Square Enix umbrella)

    if so then its a shame as ive poured hours into that game (finished one of the main characters stories and am close to finishing another) and i dont think it will be available digitally.

  2. Honestly, I think they should be free/very, very low cost. But you could just play them on the old system..
