Chinese SOE publishing partner, The9, has recently published a new trailer for PC-exclusive MMOFPS PlanetSide 2 which has yet to be formally unveiled in the West. The 150-second video shows a number of different in-game clips including infantry and ground/air vehicle combat as well as brief interviews with a number of the game’s developers including Matt Higby and Josh Hackney.
Needless to say, the game is looking fantastic and hopefully the Forgelight engine will be able to support the 1000-player battles SOE are boasting. PlanetSide 2 has yet to receive a firm launch date, though a beta is expected in the coming months.

Well I think the visual style of the game is great, and 1000 player battles sounds mental, shame it’s on the wrong platform for me :P
