Guess what? Go on. Guess. Bet you can’t. I bet you cannot guess what a games development team is doing. Go on, I’ll give you three chances to guess.
Oh. You guessed.
Yes, Criterion is working on a game and the team’s creative director, Craig Sullivan, has tweeted ‘Got lots to share over the coming months…. going to be BIG.’
Possibly Burnout, more likely to be another Need For Speed, less likely for the something ‘big’ to be a life sized replica of the Titanic built out of spam and woodlice.

A new Burnout would be exactly what they need to bring them back to top form after the “less than expected” releases from Criterion of late. A sequel to Burnout Paradise would be top of my wishlist ;)

Better be burnout, been dying for a new burnout since they stopped the stream of paradise dlc

Airblade, airblade, airblade.
If EA bought the IP, i’m sure it would fit under their “EA SPORTS BIG” brand.

I better not be another fucking Need for Speed, they truly are the Call of Duty’s of the race world, except nobody likes them. If they announce a new Burnout (a REAL one, not a mini game again), I may do a sex-wee.

Something along the lines of Burnout 3 I hope? Back t’old days of Burnout when it was good and not a “need for speed inbred” creation I mean abomination… xD

Please say its burnout, please, please, please

Let’s face it, an open world racer in and around a fictional city that is still being played online daily by people four years after release would suggest massive success, and to replicate that game in a new setting for a sequel to Paradise City is what the word “BIG” hints at to me! It won’t be Burnout Paradise 2 obviously as there has to be a new city/world created, but hopefully based along those lines.
