Canadian games retailer Future Shop have been rather indiscreet with their Tweets after attending a ‘Destination PlayStation Event’ last night, leaking a major upcoming title from Sony, a few from EA and one from SquareEnix.
First they revealed ‘LittleBigPlanet Karting’ which will run in 3D and can use a PlayStation Move steering wheel.

Rumours this morning suggest the game will come from ModNation Racers developers United Front, and will be PS3 exclusive (no Vita version) – it’s almost certainly this.
Then they revealed a couple of none too shocking yearly updates from EA…

… before dropping one last bombshell with a new game from SquareEnix called ‘Sleeping Dogs’, which the publisher must have been delighted about.

Well done indiscreet Future Shop tweeter!
There’s a standee for the LittleBigPlanet Karting game that the same sourced leaked then removed, or at least tried to remove. It’s below for your perusal.
Lovely.

Hmm, Sleeping Dogs seem to be a gangster themed game. I really hope it’s a Mafia themed game as they are rare and tend to be good most of the time. :)
I’m not surprised that EA yearly games have another release this year. But i wonder if Fifa 13 will outsell 12.
Wouldn’t LBP just end up being Modnation Racers but on a bigger scale with more customisation options?
I’m guessing that Future Shop will go onto the publisher’s not to tell untill we want everyone to know list.

I always felt like MNR was soulless which was gutting considering how it should’ve ended up. LBP is nothing but soul. Hopefully, MM can guide them accordingly.

Ugh, this could’ve been in LBP game with a full 3D editing… like crash and the likes of Soul Reaver or even a FPS.
It’ll…be mad to even make a track in the style of the LBP editor than Modnations.

Hopefully they’ll get the perfect mix of LBP and Mario Kart – exactly what I wanted MNR to be.

At first I was like; uuuh LBP karting! Then I found out it’s being made by MNR’s developers; *sadface*.
Forrest_01
Surely LBP Karting would basically be exactly the same as MNR?? Ok, well hopefully it might have better load times, but stil…
maneorix
My point exactly. MNR was decent, but I can’t say I was overly impressed by it..
