Want To Play Journey Early? PS Plus To The Rescue!

There’s a good chance that a lot of you want to play Journey early. We don’t blame you, especially after our 10/10 review which, I think, is the first TSA review to not have any cons at all.

PS Plus subscribers will get the chance to buy the game next week, a full week earlier than non-subscribers. Just to point out there’s no price reduction with Plus, but there will be a bonus dynamic theme.

So far this has just been mentioned in the US. We will try and find out if the EU gets this Journey goodness, although it was mentioned on the EU Blog today that some big Journey news will be announced on Monday.

  1. Yay :) Now let’s hope SCEE don’t mess up this release too!

  2. But the thing is I see it as regular customers now get certain content a week late, rather than ps+ getting it a week early.
If this was released before ps+ was around I bet we’d all get it a ‘week earlier’, but now it just means we have to wait a bit.

    • C’est la vie. I don’t subscribe to PS+ but might do just for this. There are perks to be had and getting my grubby mittens on Journey early is one of them. If I don’t, I wait. No real problem. I either want it badly and buckle or be patient. :-)

  3. nice huge fan of PS+

  4. ooh. Almost in time for my birthday. yay.

  5. Good incentive but im still not sure about the game. I think its one of those games you have to play to get it and as there’s a slim chance of a demo i’ll wait for a discount as 10 pound is alot to spend on a punt.

  6. I haven’t played Flow or Flower at all but i like the concept behind them. This, however, I’ll definately be getting! I love the idea behind it and, although completely immersive, doesn’t look to taxing with a smooth and gentle playstyle

  7. I really want the game but this incentive isn’t enough to make me buy PS+. No problem waiting till the actual release date, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out too much.

  8. Oh no US :S

  9. Damn, it feels good to be a plusser.

  10. A discount would be better. Getting it a week early is not really a big deal to me.
