The HD Collection will include the first three games, each running at 60fps and in 3D.

  1. Awesome news :) never played any of the older R&C’s apart from when demo discs where in their peak. Might be my first HD collection.

  2. i want hd getaway remake man that game was awsome

  3. Oh good. Finally the collection everyone asked for in the first place ;)

  4. Excellent stuff, will keep an eye out for this :D

  5. The way things are going with the HD Collection releases of God of War, Metal Gear Solid, ICO/Shadow of the Colossus, Silent Hill, Devil May Cry, Jak & Daxter and now this recently…I won’t have time to play any new games! But, man – the PS2 certainly was an incredible console and these games are even better in HD. I’ll just play the best PS3 games in super HD or whatever on the PS4 :-)

  6. YES! :D I have maxed out bolts in all these games, all Gold bolts and most skill points … look forward to doing it all again! :D

  7. Best Collection ever, Don’t know about anyone else but all three games have the best soundtrack in any game :)

  8. I enjoyed R&C3 back in the PS2 days. So i shall be picking this up when it releases unless they cock it up somehow. :)

I wonder if this means that there will be sequel to the last R&C game that took place after the events of 3? I wonder if Insomniac will be developing this as i think they developed R&C 1-3? Although i doubt that Sony would let them release it on Xbox 360 as well as i think they still own the rights to the first 3 games. :)

  9. If you look at the usa playstation blog at this article and read the comments by insomniac games it sounds like they might be doing Ratchet deadlocked as well.

  10. I’m guessing Bluepoint’s the developer. They’ve done just about all of the Sony first party ones, haven’t they?
