Worms Creator Returns To Gaming

Andy Davidson, creator of the evergreen Worms franchise, has returned to Team 17 after a fourteen year absence.

“It’s nice to be back at Team17, it’s as though there’s been a revolution in the studio itself – there’s a real creative buzz about the place,” said Davidson.

Andy has returned to “scratch the creative itch” so we are hoping for brand new ideas and games but for now he will be helping out on ‘Worms Revolution’.

  1. Have Team 17 done ANYTHING apart from Worms in recent years? Am I the only one who thinks the franchise is way too stale now, yes? Ok *let’s self out*

    • They did the rather annoying Alien shootery games

  2. worms for vita already dam!

    • Great idea actually.

      • Yeah, it was the best way to way a lunch break with a few mates on the PSP

    • If I was in charge at Team 17 they’d all be working overtime on Worms World Party 2 for the Vita… :D

  3. Great news! I went to school with Andy. Had many great lunch times playing the pre-curser to Worms on the art department Amigas. Good luck to him!

  4. …Wait so it was a team of 16 all along?

  5. I’ll buy the next Worms game regardless as my mate is a huge fan on them.

  6. Used to love worms….

  7. Worth keeping more of a close eye on these guys now.
