  1. Interesting. Assassin’s Creed II has gone up by £3. What’s the thinking behind that one?

    • Yeah, should be the other way round. It’s now been corrected on the PlayStation Blog.

    • I’m also looking forward to the soundtrack but in the meantime – there’s a second Journey dynamic theme free with PS+! and it adds some tinkly sounds to your XMB.. :)

  3. I Am Alive is 2quid more expensive than on the Xbox360. Why is that?

    • Its also about £12 more expensive than it needs to be! :P

      • xD I personally quite enjoyed the demo. Wouldn’t pay a tenner for it but maybe if it reaches the 3.99 price point in a sale at some point I may fold.

      • Yeah, i agree actually if i am being serious – Half the price & i’ll consider it. Discount it a bit more & i’ll just pick it up for the hell of it! :)

      • Ive just been playing it now, so far its worth the £10 i piad for it with plus :)

      • @Origami – glad you’re enjoying it. Really does a good job of creating the concept of survival through its retry system and painfully limited supplies. From what I can tell from most negative reviews they were treating it like another CoD game or put off by the visuals (which are cruddy I have to say)

    • Apart from a couple of things or temporary sales, the PSN is often £2-4 more expensive than the XBLA.

    As in the character Eddie??? I hope so!!! I have really missed his awesome ‘fro!!!

    • His absence was the reason I gave the game a miss. Well, that and the visuals, which I really didn’t like

      • Plus he’s free! I’m in.

      • To be fair i dismissed it waaay to early after playing an early build at eurogamer – I didn’t like the controls, it didn’t look right & it didn’t feel right.

        However, since i am very fickle, i bought it a week or two back & as far as i am concerned, none of the above are actually an issue. Sure, it’s more realistic/manilla compared to trciky, but it is a great game.

      • Not only does this free content have both Eddie and Travis Rice, it also includes Mt. Fuji.
