U.S. Version Of Home Gets What Appears To Be A Lapdance Club

PlayStation Home, that family friendly place full of mini games, Sackboys and virtual pet dragons is about to get a new area for U.S. gamers.

It’s called X7 and is apparently a nightclub.

A nightclub which features ladies with very little clothing on, dancing on tables and grinding their booties whilst the male characters stare at their tits (44s into the video).

I think someone at Home has been playing a little too much Saints Row The Third.

  1. I don’t know what the fuss is about. People in comments above seem to be getting pissed off for no valid reason IMO. Firstly it’s not a Lapdance Club, but I guess it makes a great headline and draws readers in so is understandable. Its actually just a club with a massive central dance floor and a few podiums to the side (a very standard looking nightclub). Lapdance clubs don’t have central dance floors, they have central dancing platforms or tables. Secondly, if you’re not into virtual socialising in these kind of worlds, akin to ‘Second Life’, then fine, i’m not either! But to say it’s stupid or inappropriate is nuts IMO. Each to their own. Plus this is one of the few IPs Sony is making decent money on. Good on ’em for continuing to support Home for it’s loyal users!

  2. haha! this is brilliant

  3. Cue the angry letters that will be sent to Sony for daring to include a lapdance with sexual avatars and instead of censoring everything.

If i wanted to visit a virtual stripclub, i would just play GTA4. :) There had damm well better be Assari strippers for this.

  4. Seriously why would you pay 4.99 for that, Home just does not make sense to me at all.
