Sega’s upcoming action brawler, mech inspired, shooter thing is due out this summer. It’s being made by Platinum Games, the developers of Bayonetta and Vanquish so it was never going to be a serene affair but these three new (very short) gameplay videos, courtesy of Gematsu (via VG247), are hectic, manic, crazy – choose your own hyperbolic declaration of lunacy.

I have played this & whilst it was pretty good, it felt a bit ‘button bashy’ to me.
Plus the only thing on show at eurogamer was a multiplayer mode & i have no idea if that is in fact the full game (as in mp only) or if it is a side mode to a singleplayer campaign.
It was pretty entertaining for a bit, but if it is only a mp mode, i can see it getting stale pretty quickly.

Not the mode i played – That was 4 player only.
In fact, i really don’t think it could handle any more than that on the screen at once anyway if i am honest.
It would also be a bit of a cluster-you-know-what with any more than 4-6 too if you look at the vids.
