Heroes of Ruin To Lose GAME Exclusivity?

Earlier this week GAME announced that Heroes of Ruin, an upcoming action RPG for the 3DS, will be exclusive to the recently-salvaged UK retailer. Despite GAME’s website still listing it as an exclusive, other outlets have also been taking pre-orders. Nintendo UK, who will be distributing the game, have also come out and said they are in talks with other UK retailers.

Nintendo UK can confirm it is currently in discussion with UK retailers about the sale of Heroes of Ruin for Nintendo 3DS. However, we have nothing further to announce on this title beyond the recent distribution agreement with Square Enix Europe.

Whether or not Heroes of Ruin will be a shot in the arm for the Nintendo handheld has yet to be seen. Hopefully we’ll have a review for you lot when the game hits shelves on June 15th.

  1. Watched the video on this from the store recently and as part of Nintendo direct. It doesn’t look half bad actually. If I wasn’t getting Diablo 3, and knew more people with a 3DS I’d probably pick it up.

  2. This looks ok and I don’t think anyone should be bothered that it’s no longer a GAME exclusive. They want the sales from as many people as possible after all

  3. If this turns out to be worth playing before I finally trade my 3DS there’s a decent chance of me trying it out. I can only hope.
