Portal 2 DLC Coming May 8th

Valve has announced that Portal 2 DLC, entitled Perpetual Testing Initiative, will release on  May 8th for PC & Mac. The DLC will be free.

The Perpetual Testing Initiative will allow players to create their own puzzles and share them. Created puzzles can be published onto the Steam Workshop where other players can rate them. Valve has also stated that, “Selected puzzles will automatically be downloaded and installed inside Portal 2.”

So far there’s no word on a release of this DLC for either the PS3 or Xbox 360.

  1. Wow looks like Valve are doing another TF2 with their console port. Good thing they included the pc code!

Ace – I looked at trading some games in this morning and Portal2 was one of those I chose against dispensing with, primarily because of these promises of free DLC, thank Clive valve are sticking to their word, sets a great example for brand loyalty given the rumours surrounding next gen playability issues. Still looking away from PS4 at mo though

  3. In a way I kind of hope this doesn’t materialise on consoles as I’ve got the game from lovefilm at the moment (and loving it!) but I’m nearly done with it and don’t want to have to rent it again.
