Update For Everybody’s Golf Vita Adds New Modes

Evergreen Everybody’s Golf will get an update next Monday which brings a trio of new features and modes to the Vita launch title. Sadly though, and it seems I’m the only one who actually cares about this, it doesn’t look like it’s going to address the poor resolution and awful upscaling, which still annoys the hell out of me.

Regardless, look forward to cross-game chat compatible eight player simultaneous Versus Rooms (where players can freely set the match type and course) and the addition of the Grade System being added to the Real Tournament Mode, which will now have a four level system, which will be much better for matchmaking.

Finally, the Daily National Tournament Mode will feature a new one-week tour system, which will run over the weekend with the winners listed on Mondays.

  1. Sounds like a good update. the graphics don’t bother me though. The whole colourful cartoony look is fine for me and I don’t see any issues with the upscaling

  2. The games so god damn addictive and easy to play for 5 mins here and 5 mins there, nice to see more modes. This is the first I’ve heard of any graphical shortcomings, I haven’t noticed them and I’ve no idea what I’m meant to be looking for…

    • Really? It runs at about PSP resolution and is – as a result – horribly blurry.

      • Mine isn’t blurry. The colours, characters and courses look fantastic on my Vita

      • Have to agree with Nofi, it’s not overly pretty and nowhere near as “sharp” as my other games on the Vita. Saying that though, it doesn’t bug me much. What does bug me is being unable to play online since my PSN pass is american and not UK.

  3. its a fun little game but nowhere near the excellence that was Ace Golf (or Swingerz Golf if your a yank) on the GameCube.

It does look a little blurry on my brother-in-laws Vita and he`s a bit miffed about it.

  4. Being a little harsh on the old graphics there nofi. It’s got lots of graphics, more than enough for me and I think it looks just dandy on the vita. They should address the difficulty curve as I’m having awful problems getting anything like a decent score but before I was all over the low scores like a cheap suit.
