PayDay: The Heist just got a 500+Mb Steam update. That’s not unusual these days, of course. Games often get large updates that download and then don’t appear to do anything but this one might be laying the groundwork for some new DLC.
An observant poster over on NeoGAF has poked around their menus a little bit after the update installed and found the screen below.
The text is a little too small to read, so here it is transcribed:
Purchase the Wolf Pack DLC to host two epic new heists, free for all to join. Also included, the Technician skill tree, which includes three awesome new weapons, a crew bonus, new player upgrades, the deployable sentry gun equipment and a raised level cap.
So there we have it: new Wolf Pack DLC coming soon to PayDay: The Heist. We assume this is the Steam version but hopefully the DLC will be added to the PS3 version of the game too.

“Free for all to join”
Does that essentially mean that one person buys it and 3 other people can join this person without paying a penny?
Sounds slightly unfair yet sort of a good idea for bringing more people back to the game.

Yer but i bet the 3 other people don’t get the DLC extras like the New Weapons and Skill tree etc.
