PS Vita Gets £85 Price Cut On 3G Version With Vodafone

Vodafone, if you buy it from their stores, have reduced the price of the 3G PS Vita from £279 to £194, a saving of £85, according to reports.

This is a considerable saving and anyone looking to pick up Sony’s new(ish) handheld might well be tempted, especially as – for now at least – it still comes with the brilliant future-racer WipEout 2048 once you activate the SIM card.

You do need to pick up £10 of data when you buy the Vita, mind, but apparently there’s also a 4GB card included. Some are speculating that this is indicative of an upcoming price cut.

Check with your local Vodafone store before heading out, and let us know how you get on.

  1. Really good if I had £200 lying about, awesome price.

  2. Will hold out until after E3, and then see how much money I’ve got at the end of the summer. A deal even remotely similar to this on the wi-fi model and I’ll be picking up every penny I see on the street to help pay for it!

Its says at the bottom it is £190 with a 4gb card, but it looks like to have to trade in ‘your old phone or gaming device’ for the discount.

  4. It’s only £209.99 at Amazon.co.uk & the Wi-Fi only version is £194.99. Think it’s been that price for over a month now.

  5. I had already for my 3G Vita with a 8GB memory card and Rayman for £285.

  6. Great news, I’d imagine that Amazon will follow up with some splendid bundle deals in the near future aka. 3G console + memcard + top rated game, all for under £200…..watch this space!
This could be the push that a lot of us have waited for :’)

  7. The console is selling poorly, so this is even more expected than Nintendo’s price-cut. I’d better get some free games outta this (and not minis either) :l
