Ubisoft’s E3 Conference Trailers

To use a suitably American cliché Ubisoft really knocked it out of the park with their E3 press conference.  Those of us chatting away on Skype certainly enjoyed it the most of the big three so far, Microsoft, EA and Ubisoft.

Far Cry 3 looks to have a villain crazy enough to rival The Joker.  Here’s the game’s Step Into Insanity trailer:

We’d already seen some of what Splinter Cell: Blacklist has to offer thanks to Microsoft’s conference but Ubisoft made doubly sure we knew all about it.

You can take a closer look at the tools Sam uses for killing in this video:

Rayman Legends continues the stunning cartoon stylings seen in Origins:

London doesn’t feature in enough games (Mario and Sonic at the 2012 Olympics notwithstanding) ZombiU changes that though.  Curious timing to release a trailer with this music playing while we’re enjoying our Jubilee holiday in the UK though:

Assassin’s Creed III was always going to have a significant presence and it didn’t disappoint when we saw it.  Here’s the official E3 trailer:

Vegetarians may not want to watch the ACIII game play video:

And there’s the new title which has already hacked its way into our subconscious and planted a subversive “pre-order me” message, Watch Dogs:

The game play looks amazing too.

Ubisoft have been quick to get their full conference video posted too so in case you missed it or want to catch the smaller games that haven’t had their own videos released yet here it is.  I’ve even skipped the blank bit of the video at the start where they were running late:

  1. Watch Dogs looks great. I wasn’t that interested in it before but that just changed.

    • I never heard about it before, how did you?

      • Sorry, I was thinking about Sleeping Dogs…

  2. first time i saw Watch Dogs and i loved every bit of the footage they showed us!!
and the trailer for ZombiU was an awesome trailer, just as good as the Dead Island trailer was when it came out! =D

  3. Ubisoft knocked it out of the park, game after game after game, so far ahead of everyone else’s for me.

    • They were great, but the hosts where horrible and I think the demo for Shootmania was dull.

  4. Wasn’t able to watch the Rayman Legends gameplay footage with sound and only saw parts of it but are there two players playing or is Rayman auto walking while the guy uses the touchscreen on the controller?

  5. Watch dogs looks brill

  6. What is it with Ubisoft and there presenters, Aisha was really annoying especially with her stupid sexual jokes, i wouldn’t mind them if they were actually funny.

And that Toby bloke, bloody hell they should of kept him in his cage backstage and never let him out.

  7. Ubi had by far the best conference. Apart from the ridiculously unfunny hosts and that Shootmania thing, all the games they showed were top class. Rayman looked excellent, AC3 was epic, Far Cry 3 looked amazing once again, and topped off with a genuine surprise in Watch Dogs. Good show Ubisoft.
