The Official PlayStation Magazine (UK) podcast may have revealed the fate of Rockstar’s elusive PlayStation 3 exclusive, Agent
Near the end of the podcast, in the readers questions section, the team are asked if The Last Guardian will ever be released.
At 55m 44s Joel from OPSM says ‘What if it’s like Agent, what if it’s coming for something else?’
He then goes on to discuss the fate of Last Guardian by saying ‘Gen 4. At least three people said to us… not on camera… Gen 4.’
A Rockstar exclusive and The Last Guardian would make a fine PlayStation 4 launch line up, what do you think?

What do I think? I think it’s not exclusive anymore.; not since Tretton was asked at last year’s E3 about it and its exclusivity to PlayStation, and he said: “Well, you would need to ask Rockstar about that.”
But, yes, I doubt we’ll see it on PS360.

Yes, a lovely launch it would be. But since when have OPSM been committed to being truthful with their outlandish claims? They just love to say things that will get people’s attention.

I don’t think they’re coming at all. We haven’t heard from either for so long, but I here Last Guardian mentioned a lot more than Agent. Do we even know the premise of Agent?
If they do come out theyre either gonna b ages and come out like GT4, great but not worth the wait, or they gonna do a Duke Nukem and be naff….

Can see Rockstar pushing it back untill next gen as they probably want to get a game out within the first year of the release of the PS4 greggs and the Xbox Tesco. Or they are encountering a lot of problems and have put Agent on the back bench whilst they work on GTA5.

I can easily see both games coming out next gen, and it would make sense as to why they have been absent for a while as I can’t imagine Sony talking about, or showing games that they intend to release on an unannounced system.

would be fantastic to see just a small clip of gameplay if it is for next gen, if the new consoles are eyeing this xmas or even next (supposing they aim for xmas time at all) would be a great idea to just drop snippets before the console is even announced. That would be some great PR work as everyone would know it would look to good for the current gen and then that would mean some real hype on next gen and the line up…
Yet, pissing in the wind is not wise stillirise :D

It almost makes sense. I can see why they would save a game like the last guardian, that has been in development for ages, and make it run on PS4. Make it even shinier and beautiful, a perfect showcase title for the PS4 launch.
