Well, it was. Walmart‘s published the box-art and some details on the game, which looks likely to cost $50 and will ship on – no, wait, that’s a placeholder.
The portable Call of Duty sounds a bit like Unit 13, with the description giving away some of the previously secret details.
“Before the future could be won, history had to be written,” says the blurb. “Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions.”
“Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.”

Spec Ops suits on-the-go gaming perfectly, online I can just see being a lag fest.

A FPS version of Unit 13 would be no bad thing.
Blair Inglis
Sounds perfect for Vita with the short Spec Ops missions!

Could be a purchase for me! Hopefully it is £30 rather than £35/£40.
sparkyscrum
Sounds like it could be worthwhile.
Hope they have the sense to bring out a demo.

Is it possible to play multiplayer anywhere with a 3G connection?

Could actually be interested in this if it is like Unit 13, perhaps more so than if it had a proper campaign.
