Capcom have released two Resident Evil 6 videos, which we’ve cleverly put into a single post.

They centre on Leon doing Resident Evil-type stuff, and are about ten minutes each.

I really want to like these clips, and there’s a lot of good things in there, but;
– It looks frustrating to move and aim
– It looks like Leon can get in the way of the view at times
– He runs like he’s shat himself

It’s better then the E3 demo as it does seem to resemble a typical Resi game so prehaps this won’t be as bad as was. 5 was a decent game but a piss poor Resi game. I hate the objective markers as part of the fun of Resident Evil is trying to figure out where the feck should i go and if i will get eaten by a zombie or waste valuable bullets. Also, the lift bit was a bit predictable. They should tweak the player view a bit as Leon tends to get in the way a bit but then again it’s a Resi game and bad camera angles are a tradition. Also, why didn’t Leon tell that other guy to get away from the obiviously infected woman? He’s only survived the Raccoon City incident and fought hundreds of the zombies.
Disappointed that the zombies are the fast kind and not the slow ones. :(
