UK Charts: Batman Keeps Top Spot As Spider-Man Appears In Second

UK charts for last week show a couple of superhero games at the top, namely Lego Batman and The Amazing Spider-man.

Most sales of Spider-man were on 360, with 56%. 42% were on PS3 and the remainder were shared amongst Wii, 3DS and DS. FIFA’s down 12% to 5th place from 2nd.

3. SPEC OPS: THE LINE – TAKE 2

  1. “Batman Keeps Top Spot”

Five words explain this – Free Lex Luthor Lego Figure.

    Full of win.

  2. I know the Batman would be at number 1 because, *drumroll* HE’S THE GODDAM BATMAN! And who is playing a drumroll?

I’m surprised that Spidey has managed to swing his way to the 2nd spot as movie tie ins are usually crap and don’t sell well but he has a decent game but due to it being a movie tie in, shouldn’t be selling that well. :O

Skyrim was bound to see a rise in sales as chances are many rimmers got bored of it, traded it in, became interested in Dawnguard, bought another copy and bought Lagguard(I couldn’t think up of a clever name for Dawnguard).

Surprised that Snake is sneaking his way back up into the top 10 although it may be the Vita version and i’ve misinterpeted it but to be fair it doesn’t state if it’s the vita version or not.

    • I’m not so surprised about spidey to be fair – People will be hyped about the film & will want anyting that they can get their hands on that is to do with that. So there is that.

Secondly, it’s actually been scoring relatively well in the few reviews there have been – Yes, nothing earth shattering, but up in the 70’s/7’s & 80’s/8’s from what i have seen so far.

More importantly though, it’s a free roam spidey game, which instantly gives it credibility as a lot of people have fond memories of Spiderman 2 on the PS2.

That’s why i bought it anyway. Seems good so far (but i have only just defeated the first boss thing).
