Quirky point and click puzzle game, Machinarium, has been slated for a PlayStation 3 release for some time but now the ESRB has also listed the game for the PS Vita.
The award winning puzzle game came out on PC in 2009 and finds you in the metallic shoes of a robot named Josef as he tries to rescue the girl and defuse a bomb.
The PSN version (and presumably the PS Vita version too) will have a walk-through option allowing players to uncover hints and tips by playing brief mini-games.

Wondeful! Didn’t this get some award(s) or something on PC?! I was slightly gutted it wasn’t available on PS3/PSN previously. I shall look forward to this!

r. [That’s the “r” I missed from Wonderful].

It’s an beautiful, amazing game with some really great ideas. It’s actually pretty tough in parts too (unless you wuss out and use the walkthrough). Hopefully it’ll be priced right.

Yeah that X’s and O’s puzzle had me stumped for days and unfortunately had to wuss out and look it up on youtube to get past!
I apoligise for my wussiness (is that a word?!).

I think this is on iPad too, will presumably be closer to that version than the PC version?

It is, for about £3. Let’s see what price the Vita version comes out as…

The PS3 version has had an extra 1.5 yrs in development so I guess that’s going to up the price somewhat.

Yeah. Great game. My wife finished it but I never did. Oops.

At last, been looking forward to this for a while!

Looks quite good. I like the style of the game. Keep me posted :)

I’ve been waiting ages for this to come to PlayStation!

Been looking forward to this since the beginning of time, or at least since cc_star (I think) wrote a news piece detailing it coming to PSN.
PSN needs more point ‘n clickers. Now, if Sony want to somehow put the first two Broken Swords on PSN, I’d be as happy as a man that can afford both milk and cereal as opposed to just one or the other.

had this game on the BlackBerry PlayBook and loved it, in fact, it was the only thing worth having the PlayBook for (now own an ipad). I might get it again for my Vita as its a lovely game.

I bought it in a Steam promotion bundle, a while back and i like the game… The only problem it’s everytime i save the game, it dissapears the next time i play :/
In other hand, i’m happy to see that other gamers (PS gamers) will have the chance to enjoy a good game :)

This should work really well on the Vita.
