Jet Set Radio Also Coming to Mobile Platforms

Remember when Sega announced that Jet Set Radio would be returning this summer? There was much rejoicing and celebration as we learned that the Dreamcast classic would hit PC, PSN and XBLA. Well, the good news continues.

Sega, in a move which celebrates graffiti in ways the British Transport Police can only dream of one day recognising, are bringing Jet Set Radio to iOS and Android. The mobile version will have the same visuals and soundtrack as the console download versions but there will also be Openfeint support and the ability to use your smartphone camera to snap photos which can then be used in game as graffiti.

Have some screens, the first two are Android, then there’s an iPad screen and the last two are iPhone images:

  1. The more platforms the better

  2. Can’t they use the photo option on the vita version?

  3. I really want to play this game… ;_; How long will this suffering last?

  4. I’m getting the vita version day uno.

  5. I think that a virtual gamepad on the iPad won’t be so bad, but on smaller devices, this is going to be awful. I’ll pay more to play it on the PS3, even if it’s not the far superior and more enjoyable Jet Set Radio Future. Except if mobile was on their plans all the way long, then maybe the XBox version would be too much for the small devices.
