There’s only one thing you really need to know about this week’s podcast: the quiz was themed around Calvin and Hobbes. Everything else is superfluous, I assume you’re already skipping past all of this text to get to the bit where you can download the podcast and listen to a quiz about Calvin and Hobbes.
Well, we’d better let you know that we talking a bit about some news, including the Google Nexus 7 and Polytron’s blaming of Microsoft’s expensive certification fees for their decision not to patch their game. We spoke about the Steam Sale a bit, mostly to point out how much of an idiot I am.
Lewis watched a film called Tyrannosaur which is not about dinosaurs. Kev’s been playing inFamous 2 and I can’t honestly remember what Kris and I were up to. I think Kris talked about a dancing movie. As he does.

i can honestly say this is the first podcast i’ve ever heard that’s started out with discussions of baby MMA.

they made a few sequels to Bloody Roar, i’ve got Bloody Roar 3 on ps2.
i’d love to see a sequel to Omikron, one of Quantic Dreams earlier games.
it had a great soundtrack with a few songs by David Bowie, there’s even an in game performance by a character that looks like him, but seems to be wearing some kind of nappy.
though i think the game got a decent reception at the time.
another game with a similar mechanic i’d like to see a sequel to is Messiah.
a game where you played this cherub thing and had you could take over people’s bodies.
it was fun to control somebody, jump them off somewhere high up, breaking their legs then leave their body and see their reaction.
cruel, but fun.
