This video features seven minutes of Beyond gameplay, seemingly captured from GameTrailers and posted by AllGamesBeta. It seems to be from a demonstration given by David Cage, presumably at Gamescom. As usual with things posted by AGB, it’s a little low on details.
The audio is a bit odd and there is one of those troublesome unskippable adverts that pre-rolls the video but it does show off some of what the game does tries to achieve.

Looks pretty cool, but also looks limited to scripted moments. I’m sure it will be enjoyable to play through though.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, he said it’s sandbox, but that really didn’t look sandbox, each kill looked like a scripted event, you might not have to do them in any order, but it still seemed scripted, like when possessing people you didn’t actually get proper control over them

Jesus, that was awesome. It’s heavily scripted from scene to scene but there’s some flexibility in each environment to have fun. He’s technically right in the sense that it’s a sandbox but the world itself is most certainly not. It’s a linear (or not so linear) path of miniature sandboxes for the story to unfold and us to be entertained.

I’m very impressed, this is just one part of the gameplay probably and it looks brill.
I was a big fan of Heavy Rain and after that I’m definitely pre-ordering!
