Machinarium Free For PlayStation Plus Subscribers

SCEE have announced this month’s PlayStation Plus line-up, courtesy of Blog Manager Fred Dutton (as Ross McGrath has sadly left the company). Despite the absence of the hugely hard working Store Manager, the Plus legacy continues, with some killer content.

First up is the brilliant (and we do mean brilliant) Red Dead Redemption, and it’s joined by the side-scrolling retro battler Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Also due (soon) is the brand new Double Dragon Neon (on the 12th) and Machinarium, which is actually out tomorrow.

Machinarium is a kooky, inventive puzzler, and well worth grabbing.

Plus, for anyone not yet signed up, will be 25% off from tomorrow too.

  1. I’m going to have to delete some stuff from my HDD.
Got stuff I’ve not even started on there, I should eiher play or get rid.
I think the latter is more likely.

  2. Machinations is great. What I want to know though, is it going to be on the Vita?

    • Yes there’s a couple of Vita versions of PS3 titles that have vamoosed.. Doc Who for example.

  3. Tried Red Dead, controls are standard Rockstar Dalek steering, never got on with that.

  4. Looking forward to playing RDR again.

Seen as plus is 25% i might renew now. I still have 8 months left so im guessing they will add another 12 months to what i have left??

    Plus is such good value.

    • Yeah it will stack on top of your current subscription

  5. Does anyone know if the retail game save will work with the digital copy of RDR? Got rid of it a few months ago so would be good to play from where I got up to

    • Depends on each game, it might… or it will not.

  6. Never did finish RDR, sold it, but might try it again since its free :)
Machinarium sounds good (I bet I’ll have to turn to a guide in the first 15 minutes), and Scott Pilgrim rocks!

    • Just finish the story, It’s not bad, quite enjoyable. there’s a bit where you have to ride a long way and theres some awesome music playing over it. ^

Play until you reach that point at least cos that is………….|

      • that didnt quite work out as planned – ……..

        ……cos that is awesome!

      • I played until the character finally got home. I though it was the end, but then they had me galloping again for miles to some other mission and I quit :p

  7. Bought RDR for a tenner a month ago :-(

Can’t complain though, fantastic game, one of my faves this generation.

If enough people are interested I’d vouch for a RDR Meet…
