Earlier today, we met Lorne Lanning and Stewart Gilray for a chat. It was awesome, we had a beer and got a sneaky peek at the Abe’s Oddysee HD gameplay footage they were about to show to the the world at Eurogamer. There’ll be a video interview from us in a day or two but in the meantime you can get a look at the footage below.
In the interests of full disclosure, I should say that we’re quite friendly with JAW and that Lorne Lanning was one of my game design heroes when I was still young enough to need to save up pocket money to buy his games. Now that’s out of the way, Abe’s Oddysee HD looks absolutely amazing. Here, have a look.

Never really played these back in the day but may have to get the classics on Vita as likely far cheaper than HD version. If the HD version comes to Vita though I couod be tempted to go for the shinier one. Any news on this or likely to be PS3 only?

I was like 8 when this came out and had absolutely no idea what to do but then again, kids actually played outside, so I just wanted to play outside as soon my mum let me, nowadays kids just wanna get home and get on the 360 or PS3 lol.
