News Snatch: FIFA Wii U

The Deus Ex movie has a director, namely Scott Derrickson who has previously had his paws on Sinister and The Exorcism Of Emily Rose. Derrickson will also co-write the movie and is said to be “serious about the lore” of the games. “Deus Ex is a phenomenal cyberpunk game with soul and intelligence,” he said. “By combining amazing action and tension with big, philosophical ideas, Deus Ex is smart, ballsy, and will make one hell of a movie.” The movie is to be based on the latest game in the franchise, Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

YouTube arrives on the Nintendo Wii today, just in time for everyone not to notice because they are buying a Wii-U.

EA has released a trailer for the Wii U version of FIFA 13 highlighting how the game pad can be used to take free kicks. It also has a ‘shake and shoot’ function and allows you to make substitutions as you play.

 Star Wars: The Old Republic is now free to play and characters can gain experience up to the 50th level. Let’s all sign up and punch Jar Jar in the face, forever.
