This is an odd one, I was just trawling about on the PSN store for another feature I am writing and noticed that Journey is no longer available for purchase.
I have taken an ever-so-professional shot with my phone which you can see above.
“Perhaps it’s vanished because they are going to release the Journey Collector’s Edition in Europe” I mused, so quickly fired an email over to the team to see if they had any insider information.
“I just searched for it while recording the podcast – it’s there at £9.99?” replies Peter and provides evidence via his mobile phone camera.
I had navigated to the Journey page by going via the ‘Top Rated Games’ section of the PS Store, so just to be sure I also did a search for the title and sure enough it does come up on the list of games but when I click into the page…
I am also getting an error message “This content cannot be selected at this time” and the more observant may have noticed that my screenshot also seems to be missing the file size of the game which on Peter’s picture is just to the right of the words “PSN Game”.
Also, earlier this evening I had a message telling me the PS Store was offline for maintenance which was rather odd as there has been no notice from Sony.
Is anyone else finding the Store glitched? Let us know in the comments.

Any idea if the disk version is coming out in the UK any time soon? Couldn’t stand the game from what I played of it last time but, with all the awards it received and praise it gets around these parts, I wouldn’t mind trying it again. Would prefer rent it from Lovefilm however.

Perhaps an article on how badly managed the SCEE store is in order. Mabye if enough people started highlighting all the errors on the store week after week something might get done.

I tried to download WipeOut for the PS3 but it’s impossible for me, all the downloads in the (Swedish) store just downloads the Vita parts.

This is a known issue, at least within Sony. However, they are slow to admit it. Over the past two years, I’ve had about 5 software titles “disappear” or no longer tagged to my account [PSN saying that I have to purchase it again].
After numerous phone calls, Sony eventually admit to the problem but don’t have a fix. Each time, manually put the software titles back onto my account.
It is a pain. Affects old and new PSN store.

I havn’t tried looking for Journey yet(must buy,) but i’m having a slightly similar problem purchasing/finding Bops2 Season Pass…
Only the 1 Map Pack DLC, shows on the Bops2 Gamepage.
When you do manage yo find the pass, you get the err/quit notification.

The “This content cannot be selected at this time” message has been happening a lot since the Store update last November, especially to content already bought. The only way to redownload those items is to plough through the awful download list, or to contact your local Sony store (with variable results). Going through the forums or Twitter is useless.
