This is an odd one, I was just trawling about on the PSN store for another feature I am writing and noticed that Journey is no longer available for purchase.
I have taken an ever-so-professional shot with my phone which you can see above.
“Perhaps it’s vanished because they are going to release the Journey Collector’s Edition in Europe” I mused, so quickly fired an email over to the team to see if they had any insider information.
“I just searched for it while recording the podcast – it’s there at £9.99?” replies Peter and provides evidence via his mobile phone camera.
I had navigated to the Journey page by going via the ‘Top Rated Games’ section of the PS Store, so just to be sure I also did a search for the title and sure enough it does come up on the list of games but when I click into the page…
I am also getting an error message “This content cannot be selected at this time” and the more observant may have noticed that my screenshot also seems to be missing the file size of the game which on Peter’s picture is just to the right of the words “PSN Game”.
Also, earlier this evening I had a message telling me the PS Store was offline for maintenance which was rather odd as there has been no notice from Sony.
Is anyone else finding the Store glitched? Let us know in the comments.

Store glitches? Oh where DO I start…. Installed a 1TB hdd in my PS3 a week ago, been downloading and struggling with the download list “¤#¤/%!!% since.
Lots of games when you search for them only comes up with the 6kb unlock file, so you have to hunt the full download in that awful download list.
Though Journey did work for me :)

I’ve had things like this since the new store launched. Any vita game I dl a demo for shows as purchased on the ps3 store. Rocketbirds shows no content found since it appeared on the latest section last week.

It says unavailable on mine too, but then I already have it.
It’s just a simple thing/error where it’s saying unavailable instead of purchased.
Means you can’t simply downloaded it again from the product page though when it’s like that.

I had store unavailable before when I tried to download MGS collection before.

I has the store offline earlier too. Also yesterday I was told Unit 13 and Ridge Racer were unavailable in the same way, although when I clicked on them it said I do not have the £10 offer code.
The search engine is appalling for PC PS store. Sod PS4, just give us a decent store team for crying out loud; get rid of the effing chimps.

Yeah, I also noticed that Journey is unavailable at the moment. I already bought the game before, and from Cb’s screenshot it looks like he didn’t purchase it on this account yet, so maybe that’s the difference?
Another curious thing I noticed yesterday: the full game Dead Space 3 seems to have disappeared from the store. All the DLCs are there, but there’s no link to the main game as usual, and you also can’t find it via search or in the new games section. Could be another German PSN store special of course. Is it still available in other countries?

Mine is ‘unavailable’ too, I assumed it was because I’ve bought it and it was a new (and confusing) replacement for ‘purchased’. It was in the download list, but I didn’t try to download it so there’s one step left for someone to check.

I noticed this on wednesday. I already own Journey and when I attempted to click on it it said ‘you already own this product’ so I assumed it just meant I already have it. But what if I owned it, but I hadn’t downloaded it yet? Bit messed up on Sony’s behalf. This makes me appreciate how well done Steam is.

I haven’t tried since, their loss I guess. Shame as I really want to play it.
