BioShock Infinite [10/10] has taken the top spot in this week’s UK sales charts, beating the likes of Tomb Raider and Gears of War to number one, selling 9,000 more than BioShock 2 in its first week.
Infinite is now the second biggest release of 2013, with Tomb Raider still the largest selling so far.
New entries include LEGO City Undercover in at 12, Tiger Woods 14 in at 8, the new Army of TWO in 6th place and the wonderful Luigi’s Mansion 2 in 5th over on the 3DS.

I’m not surprised Bioshock is at number 1 as it is fecking excellent. Elizabeth is easily one of the best characters in a videogame of this year. :D I do wish that there were more Elizabeth moments. Such as her trying to heal a dying horse and playing around with some stuff in the gift shop but you can’t have everything. I didn’t see that ending coming and it reduced me to tears….i mean manly tears made out of acid that burnt my cheeks and i ripped out my eyes. :p And i thought Subject Delta story was tragic. Won’t say more as i may end up accidentally spoiling it and i refuse to spoil stuff for people. Seriously, get it folks! If you enjoyed Bioshock 1 and 2, you will enjoy the third game. It’s the third game in the franchise so feck off Blair and Kris. ;) And Skybeard. And Peter. :P
I may pick up Tomb Raider this week as i still have £20 left from my personal birthday budget. That said, getting it for £20 will be a challenge. And no, i can’t order online due to me hating to wait for delieveries and because for some stupid reason, I can’t access Lloyds online protection program. :-/
Is Tomb Raider actually worth getting folks? I mean, i enjoyed Uncharted 2 and 3 although 3 was a bit weak during some parts of it’s plot. From what i seen, Tomb Raider is Uncharted Raider:Lara Drake’s Amongst Deception. Yes, i’ll go and hang myself for that cringeworthy joke.
