According to a story over on PC Mag Sony isn’t done with its pre-E3 PlayStation 4 campaign, and plans to have one more blow-out before Los Angeles.
The site points to a “big announcement” from the company, which has so far shown the system’s spec, some launch window games, the controller and a rough release date – currently just “Holiday 2013”.
Information from PC Mag’s source is thin on the ground, but given rumours of a similar event from Microsoft on their next console, Sony would be well poised to spoil any such Xbox-flavoured conference.
Sony are yet to talk about the PlayStation 4’s price and physical form, two things that such a pre-E3 event could neatly focus on.
That would leave the LA show to concentrate on the games, of which only a handful (Killzone, DriveClub) are currently known, alongside any third party releases like the next Assassin’s Creed, which will also appear on so-called ‘current’ gen devices like the PS3.
Whilst we’re hoping the rumours are true, we’ll reserve any excitement for such an event until Sony start the teasers again. Watch this space.

Nice one. I hope this is true. In regards to the price, I can’t see PS4 being any cheaper than 400 quid when it’s released. (Hope Sony prove me wrong though)

Can’t wait to find out pricing information, and any new details would be great.
