Batman: Arkham Origins Screens And Art

Well this is more like it, Monday morning and there is tonnes of news to get through so forgive me if I am a little brief.

Here are a load more screens for Batman: Arkham Origins plus a few bits of concept art.

The screens look very polished and smooth so they are either next gen (but the game has only been announced for current systems) or high end PC (which would make a next gen port relatively easy).

  1. Black Mask, Deathstroke and Cobblepot/Penguin all featured. Looks lovely :)

    • They should make a Deathstroke game, I would find that more interesting as this point.

  2. The Deathstroke images made me tingly. Here’s hoping there’s a proper boss fight with him, not some kind of turret/Penguin style debacle.

It does look lovely, although Batman himself is looking a more than a little ‘Bale-esque’ which is a shame. I love the Batman and general visual design from the Arkham series and am disappointed it’s all looking a lot more ‘real’.

  3. the environments look very similar to Arkham City especially image 11

    • I thought as well. Same locations, more snow. But hey, chances are they’ll just be revisiting a few, adding a twist and the rest’ll be new.

  4. At least he has proper sized feet in this game, he has tiiiiiiiiny feet in the first two.

And yes I know it’s an odd thing to complain about, but it annoyed me.

    • You go for it, fella.

Personally, I cannot take the visual choices of Batman seriously at all due to his hilariously muscular nature. It looks like he was designed by a weedy teenager dreaming of being a man one day. Same designer who sketched Chris Redfield (Resident Evil) I’m sure. They both look like condoms filled with walnuts.

      • He does have massive thighs but the rest of of him is pretty stocky as well, it’s not like he has huge arms and legs but a teeny tiny waist.

  5. Wow, that looks amazing. Wonder how it’ll look on the current generation.
